Hundreds Of Pumpkins Destroyed After Semi Truck Catches Fire

LOCATION:North 5 FWY – North of Pyramid Lake Exit 195
CITY: Lebec
DETAILS:

1. A semi Trailer Driving South on the 5 freeway caught fire.
2. The trailer was hauling hundreds of pumpkins headed for the city.
3. The whole load was destroyed in the fire do to fire and smoke damage.
4. CHP and LACoFD is at the scene.
5. CHP had requested crews to help with the cleanup.
6. A sig alert has been issued.
