Houston: Fire Rips Through Car In Parking Lot

10.21.2019 | 3:20 AM | HOUSTON – A sedan was destroyed after a fire burned through the vehicle in a parking lot, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle fire in the parking lot of a business in the 2500 block of North Loop West around 3:20 AM.

Crews arriving on scene found a white Ford sedan engulfed in heavy fire and began efforts to battle the fire.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and determined the vehicle was unoccupied.

It was unclear what led to the fire or if the owners were located nearby.
