Florence: Auto Fire Threatens Two-Story Apartment Building

01.04.2020 | 12:13 AM | LOS ANGELES – An early morning car fire threatened a two-story apartment building but was quickly contained by firefighters, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle fire in the 800 block of East 80th Street in the Florence area around 12:13 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a vehicle engulfed in flames in a driveway adjacent to a two-story apartment building.

Firefighters quickly attacked the blaze working to contain the flames before they could spread to the nearby building.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
