Fire Engulfs U-Haul Van on West Jefferson Blvd

DETAILS:
- LAFD responded to a report of a crash
- Firefighters arrived to find a U-Haul van well involved with fire
- Firefighters had to request an engine company to assist with the incident
- While the ambulance was waiting for the engine to show up, they used a garden hose to contain the flames
- Firefighters eventually knocked down the flames
- A black Toyota that was parked on the street was damaged as well as a city tree
- Also the fire damaged the adjacent food for less
- LAPD says 2 males & 1 female were reportedly seen leaving the scene after the crash
- It is unclear if the U-Haul is stolen
