Boyle Heights: Fire Burns Home & Vehicle

06.09.2020 | 2:55 AM | LOS ANGELES – A fire burned a home and a a parked car, early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a structure fire burning at a home located in the 2400 block of East Folsom Street in the Boyle Heights area around 2:55 AM.

Crews arriving on scene located a two-story home engulfed in flames that was quickly spreading to a car and nearby homes.

Firefighters quickly doused the blaze but not before it destroyed the home and nearby car.

Another home was evacuated during the firefight but did not not appear to be impacted by flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
