Blaze Engulfs RV, Claims Pets’ Lives in Cabrillo Heights Park

DETAILS:

 

1. A fire broke out in an RV and then spread to a car parked next to it.
2. Residents told the 911 dispatchers that there is normally several transients living inside.
3. When a SDPD officer arrived on the scene, he found a male who said he was living inside and was asleep when the fire started.
4. He told the officer that there were pets inside the RV.
5. Firefighters arrived to find the RV and a car next to it fully involved.
6. This was in the Cabrillo Heights Park’s parking lot.
7. The American Red Cross has been requested to come and help the people who lived inside the RV.
8. The SDFD MAST Team is coming out to investigate.
9. No injuries were reported except for the pets deaths.
